COMMUNITY

The Bronx Originals:BXOs

Since the summer of 2014, Forza Malizia has been running a free, teen, Hip-Hop dance program at THE POINT Community Development Corporation.  The teen, Hip-Hop crew, also known as the Bronx Originals (BXO's), rehearses every Tuesday night at THE POINT.  In addition to dancing, the BXO's learn about and embrace Hip-Hop history and culture, and perform.

Outreach Shows

Forza Malizia is a community minded dance company.  In addition to traditional, for-profit performances, Forza Malizia also strongly believes in making dance accessible for populations who have less opportunities to be exposed to the arts. Forza Malizia does this by volunteer teaching, performing for children, the elderly, and special education classes.
